Due to company expansion, we require Full Time-Apprentice Refrigeration & Air Conditioning HVAC Engineer in North Cork.

Apprentice will be trained in all aspects of Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems.

As part of the Solas 4 year program, apprentices will be working in Commercial and Industrial settings.

 

Apprentices will gain experience in Installation, Preventative Maintenance and reactive service work throughout their apprenticeship.

Job Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the maintenance and installation team efficiently

• Support installation, service, and repair tasks as directed

• Help maintain and organise tools, equipment, and materials

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Participate in on-the-job learning and training

Nolan Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Services is a Cork-based company established in 2024, working on jobs all over Munster.

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are now looking to expand our team by hiring a reliable and motivated labourer to assist our refrigeration and air conditioning engineers on site.

​

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on labourer to support our installation, servicing, and maintenance works across domestic and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, with opportunities to progress for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting engineer with installation and servicing of refrigeration and air conditioning systems

• Carrying tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites

• Preparing work areas and maintaining a clean and safe site

• Loading and unloading vans

• Basic manual tasks as directed by engineers

• Following health and safety procedures at all times

 

Requirements

• Full, clean driving licence (essential)

• Previous labouring or construction experience preferred but not essential

• Interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical trades

• Good work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Good timekeeping and reliability

• Safe Pass required (or willingness to obtain)

 

Pay: €13.50-€18.50 per hour
